Mural Painting

Murals are a pictorial representation of the Byzantine tradition and the Liturgical art in general. In the early days the Catholic churches, and nowadays modern Orthodox churches, were projected so that the walls could be filled with representations of liturgical feasts, the Holy Bible and Saints. Murals can be painted with the traditional fresco technique or with a dry technique with bonders such as egg, glues, etc...
