Mosaics

From the dawn of the Christian art, mosaics are considered as the best media to express the faith due the light captured and reflected by the tiles. The Transfiguration of man and cosmos after the second visit of our Lord Jesus Christ is represented in each tile. The light is the reality transfigured by the Holy Spirit. Eventually, high cost mosaics encouraged the use of murals instead of mosaics.
